35cm tall tank aquascape for shrimps
hello! i'm back again with another aquascape. this time, it's a tall tank with dimensions 30cm x 30cm x 35cm.
the vertical dimension of the tank called for some interesting design choices. i opted for stem plants towards the back and around the sides to create a sense of depth with the height that is accentuated further by the tank's shape. at the foreground, i planted cryptocyne which i hope will eventually spread out to be a little bushier. the hardscape involves a few rocks pointing outwards from the center, forming a V shape down the middle, further framing the composition of the tank.
stocked with a colony of cherry shrimps (as a start), the bright red colour is highlighted by the lush green of the densely planted foliage. let's hope they breed in the tank and populate it further.
i filmed the last few scenes only a few weeks after the scape. some plants had to be replanted because they floated up over time. let's hope they grow in well in a few month's time!

Nice work!
Thanks!
Beutiful Scape👌
thank you!
👍👍👍👍👍
Amazing tank, good job, buddy. What kind of lights are you using for this setup?
thank you! it’s an off brand LED plant growth light.
@jeremyyeh11 I've seen similar light at Amaozon and wondered if they're wort trying. Are you happy with them?
@@Biellushi yea pretty happy! although they have a timer for 3/9/12h only. the plants grow pretty well under them, and they don’t generate much heat.

@@jeremyyeh11 thanks a lot
That looks amazing!! The plants seem to be growing nicely and the fish seem very happy! ❤
These aren´t Corydoras pygmaeus. Seems to be Corydoras habrosus.
i see, thanks for the correction! maybe my local aquarium shop mislabelled them
@@jeremyyeh11 A good choice anyway! 🙂
Amazing ❤
thank you ❤️

Hello my friend, it was a nice post, thank you for showing us this beautiful post, I came to support your channel, my friend 🙋👏👍👌
hey!! thank you for your support!! ❤️
Will the submerged wood decay, overtime.
i think it will eventually but probably not before you reach the end of your tank’s lifespan! provided you get the right type of wood.
nice scape. really like it 👍 can you please tell me witch light you use? thx 🙏
thanks! i’m using a LED plant growth light I bought online. it’s off-brand but you can try searching that on Amazon!
Internet was made for content like this. Share creativity, inspire...thanks for sharing, really like the natural build which is minimalistic at the same time even tho it doesn't look like it.
thank you! :)
What a beautiful and minimalist build, I really like it! I hope to see some moss work in the future ! The editing is great, very calm 🤩 Cheers from France !
thank you! appreciate the comment. :)
i just noticed there is a transition that didn’t get rendered properly and there were some glitches too. can’t let perfect be the enemy of good but it will forever pain me to know there exists a version of this video better than what i’m showing the world :’))) anyway thanks for the kind words everyone here on youtube and on other platforms ❤
Great video mate; really like the editing style and the way you actually made the set up! Hope you make more like this in the future - would you ever expand into terrarium/vivarium stuff?
thank you! yes, i'm actually expanding towards it, started with aquariums, and i'm slowly adding more land elements. hope to do some isopod/beetle tanks in the coming months. i have been working on rescaping a few more tanks alongside this one, so stay tuned for more!
@@jeremyyeh11 Sounds great! Looking forward to it 😊
